It’s Time To Fight The 9/11 Truthers

It’s bad enough that we have American citizens who believe that the Sept. 11 terror attacks was planned by our government, or it had prior knowledge of it, but now some celebrities are speaking in favor of the groundless conspiracy theory.

9/11 No Truth Movement, created by Anthony Leone.

Hollywood star Charlie Sheen said in a recent interview that he would like to have a meeting with President Obama and urge him to start an independent investigation into the 9/11 attacks. The 44-year-old actor believes that the terror attacks eight years ago were a prelude to the “dismantling of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.”

These people, 9/11 truthers as they call themselves, believe in a wide-range of unfounded conspiracy theories regarding that fateful day. Some believe that the planes were really remote controlled to fly into the Twin Towers, while some others believe that a missile really hit the Pentagon.

While the list of ludicrous theories goes on and on, reality and cold-hard facts dismiss these sick delusions. We have passengers and flight crew calling loved ones or emergency services on cell phones or airphones and saying that radical Muslim terrorists took control of the planes.

We also have hundreds of eyewitnesses who saw Flight 77 slam into the Pentagon.

And despites Sheen’s wild theory that these staged attacks were really tools to breakdown our system of government, our Constitution and Bill of Rights are as strong as ever.

So, whenever you hear or read about these ridiculous theories; stand up and take action. It’s time to fight against these “truthers” and dismantle their lies and false beliefs.

It’s not only the right thing to do, but more importantly it is to preserve the memories of the people who lost their lives during the terrorists attacks and for those who bravely died to protect us.

Let’s not dishonor their memory by allowing delusional people to smear a day of remembrance and solace with their unfounded and hurtful accusations.
